Woodshop Orientation B: Band Saw, Router Table, Sanding & Drill Press
In this beginner class, you'll learn how to utilize some of the most popular woodworking tools in any woodshop: Band Saw, Router Table, Sanding Stations, and Drill Press.
You will receive hands-on training of how to use each tool safely and show you the basic techniques for cutting, routing and sanding wood. After the orientation on each machine, you will be required to use each tool yourself, with the instructor's guidance, to demonstrate basic safe proficiency on the tool.
Our Woodshop Tool Orientation process is broken into two, small-group classes with hands-on time on each machine. You do not need to be a member to take either section, and you can take them in any order. Members or prospective members looking to use the woodshop as a member, please note you must complete both sections to be authorized for Idea Foundry woodshop use.
