Beginner Woodworking: Cherry Hardwood Planter Box

Make your own wooden planter box to showcase your flowers in this introductory class!

In this class, students will start with rough cut and kiln dried cherry hardwood straight from the saw mill. Students will cut, surface, sand, assemble and finish this planter box. This planter box will be sized to fit a 26” planter box liner and may be used indoor or outdoor (finish will vary for indoor/outdoor use).

Tools used will include, but not limited to: jointer, planer, table saw, crosscut saw and sander.

This is not a tool clearance class. WoodshopOrientation A & Woodshop Orientation B are required before a member has access to the woodshop.
