Introduction to Soldering Electronics

Introduction to Soldering Electronics

Soldering is the process of joining two pieces of metal by filling the joint with solder, a metal with a lower melting point. In electronics, soldering is used to make a permanent connection
between components in a circuit.

In this class, you will learn how to solder electronics safely, about the types of solder used for electronics, and how to desolder a component. Finally, you will use soldering to build a small battery-operated flashing LED kit to take after the class.
